Easy Cookie Bars
1- 12 oz.. package ( 2 cups Choc. Chips)
1 - 6 oz. package ( 1 cup butter-scottch chips)
1 - Cube butter or margerine
1 - Cup peanut butter
Melt the choc. chips, butter-scottch chips,
butter and peanut butter
in a double boiler and pour over
3 cups rice krispies; 1 Cup miniture marshmellows;
3/4 cups coconut flakes; 3/4 cups chopped nuts of choice; stir
until well coated. Place in a 7" by 11" buttered pan when
cut into bars, serve when firm and fully set.

Butter Mint Candy
1 - 8 oz. pk. Cream Cheese
2 - lbs. / bag powder sugar
Oil of wintergreen extract
a drop or two of water
Bring cream cheese to room temp.
Place cream cheese in a med. sized bowl;
add powdered sugar a little at a time, mash in
with a spoon, finally kneading.
After all the powder sugar is kneaded into
the cream cheese; add a few drops of
Butter extract and Wintergreen extract to taste, food
coloring of choice if desired.
Put powder sugar on a work-board and kneed.
Work small amounts of powder sugar into
mixture until it is like stiff dough.
Divide into four equal parts and roll out into
rope and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
Sprinkle with powdered sugar on place on wax
paper and store in refrigerator
NOTE*
NOTE*
You can add red food coloring to half the candy
dough and then twist the white and red dough together
to make stripped butter mint candy.

Great idea for a Christmas gift basket.
CAKE IN A MUG
Take any ordinary microwaveable mug:,
Drop in 4 tablespoons flour
spoon in 1 egg
4 tablespoons sugar
Mix well
Add 2 tablespoons cocoa
Pour in 3 tablespoons milk and 3 tablespoons oil
Mix well
Microwave on high 3 minutes
take out mug and let it set to stop rising
(it will be a few inches over top of mug) and then tip over mug and drop onto saucer
Enjoy with coffee in another mug!
To give as a gift simply fine a neat microwaveable mug,
write out the recipe, mix up the dry ingrendence.
Then place the dry ingredence into a zip lock bag and place inside the mug.
Wrap and add a little card.
